Title: Temp Accountant 
Location: NYC Hybrid
Full-time Hours
Duration: Starting ASAP, Temp to perm potential for right candidate
Pay Rate: $35/hr- $45/hr Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC 
Responsibilities: 

  • Handle full set of accounts and month end closing for the US
  • Handle daily accounting operations consisting of accounts payable, accounts receivable and sales and bank reconciliation
  • Work closely with commercial teams to support retail and wholesale operations
  • Assist in management reporting with analysis
  • Liaise with external auditor and follow up audit, taxation or compliance issues
  • Assist in system enhancement and workflow enhancement
  • Perform assigned ad-hoc reports and supporting tasks

Experience / Qualification Requirements

  • Degree Holder in Accountancy or related discipline
  • Qualified accountant with Audit / Retail /Multinational experience is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, must have experience in retail industry
  • Strong team player with proactive attitude, good interpersonal skills and analytical mind
  • Able to work independently and handle multi-tasks
  • QuickBooks knowledge
