FT HOURS
| MUST HAVES: a Paralegal – No attorneys needed, Legal exp – reading comprehension of contracts, understand legal research, terminology and the documents, able to operate the internal system, open agreements – read and understand, then communicate what was understood, conducting Legal analysis, summarize contracts after review and justify the conclusion, familiar with needs of a large organization, 2 years of real work experience. |
| Job will consist of tasks as assigned, drafting template agreements (photo, video, artwork, COA’s, appearance and venue releases, and similar documents); reviewing pre-release materials for clearance issues and coordinate with other clearance teams; filing – physically and electronically; document upload and identification using proprietary systems; high quality legal review, analysis and communication; rights reviews and data entry; database management and improvement; drafting and circulating legal correspondence; legal research; other projects and tasks as assigned. Position will need to coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders, such as our primary distributor and licensee, marketing, production teams, A&R administration and other business and legal divisions across the company. |
Basic Qualifications:
2 years of Exp
Music, Television, Film and other entertainment industry experience requested.
MS-Office Programs, MS Teams, Zoom and Proficient creating and working with spreadsheets
Preferred Qualifications:
Music experience is preferred.
Redlining skills – highly preferred
