Salary: $100,000-$120,000

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative sweater collections that align with the brand's aesthetic and target market.
- Create detailed sketches, tech packs, and specifications for prototypes and production.
- Collaborate closely with the design team, merchandisers, and product developers to ensure designs meet quality standards and market demands.
- Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and consumer preferences to drive design decisions.
- Attend fittings and collaborate with patternmakers to ensure accurate garment construction.
- Maintain awareness of production timelines, costing, and sourcing requirements.
- Travel as needed to visit factories, attend trade shows, and gather inspiration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sweater design, preferably in women's or juniors' apparel, kids a plus
- Proven proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD software, and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of knitwear construction, yarns, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience working with off-price accounts is highly desirable.
- Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.
