Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding in-store service and ensure all team members consistently meet high service standards

Understand and exceed weekly and monthly store targets

Drive individual and team performance to achieve strong sales results

Support and challenge the team to build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service

Clearly communicate goals, targets, and key updates to the team through daily briefs and updates

Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment

Lead by example as a brand ambassador and role model

Recruit and onboard new team members when required
-
Complete store performance reports and provide in-depth sales and customer analysis

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data and business metrics

Manage stock levels, making strategic decisions around stock control

Conduct regular stockroom checks and updates to maintain optimal stock availability

Plan and execute in-store sales events and promotions
-
Maximise sales through effective visual merchandising, following brand guidelines

Maintain high presentation standards on the shop floor at all times
-
Stay aware of retail trends, customer expectations, and competitor activity in the local market
-
Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally to retain customer loyalty

Follow all company cash handling and banking procedures, ensuring security compliance
-
Support a safe and healthy working environment, following all legislative health & safety requirements

Address any security or loss prevention concerns promptly

Resolve HR issues professionally, seeking support from HR as needed
-
Manage team rotas, payroll submissions, and monthly reporting
-
Control store costs and manage petty cash effectively
-
Oversee staff holiday planning to ensure adequate coverage and balanced leave usage
-
Monitor and report any property maintenance issues
-
Maintain clean and well-organised back-of-house areas, including parcel and delivery management

Act as a key liaison with Head Office departments
-
Build strong relationships with peer store managers

Perform any additional duties reasonably required to support the business, including admin and support across other locations
