Title: Project Manager (VM/Displays)

Location: Melville, NY

Working Model: 100% on-site

Industry: Retail Displays for Prestige and Luxury Brands

Salary: $75,000-$100,000 (Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JPSearch.)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and on budget.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, organizing tasks and timelines to meet company protocols and client requirements.
  • Manage tasks in accordance with company process and protocols.
  • Maintain and support company goals and strategies.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments to ensure successful project execution.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers/brands, providing updates, addressing concerns, answering any questions, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create and adhere to realistic project timelines, incorporating both the brand’s needs and requirements.
  • Promptly schedule and conduct initial project launch meetings with the team.
  • Provide consistent follow-up with engineering for drawings and type safety.
  • Review engineering drawings and compare them to estimates before sending them to customers.
  • Ensure prototypes, including ordering of any specific materials needed, are ready to present to brands per estimates and, along with the assigned engineer, ensure prototypes are made to specifications.
  • Launch detailed and accurate Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Consistently follow up with in-house purchasing to ensure timely arrival of materials needed and communicate the same to the team.
  • Consistently follow up with clients to assure timely receipt of any/all materials provided directly from the client, such as photos, graphics, and factices.
  • Effectively coordinate shipping with customers.
  • Work with production to set QA/QC standards in production prior to the project reaching the assembly line.
  • Consistently monitor production quality and demonstrate the ability to identify quality issues during production.
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks based on evolving timelines and project demands.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Retail Displays
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to work at a computer for a prolonged period of time.
