Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor Open-to-Buy (OTB) sales and inventory at the brand level to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Communicate and update merchandising teams on OTB and receipt plans, ensuring timely execution.
- Re-forecast sales bi-monthly, highlight issues, and create inventory action plans.
- Forecast and plan sales by gender, brand, subclass, and SKU up to 9 months in advance.
- Analyze sales trends and inventory weekly to identify risks/opportunities and drive sales.
- Collaborate with merchandisers on inventory lifecycle, markdowns, cancellations, and in-store strategies.
- Report sales and inventory performance monthly and quarterly.
- Coordinate with merchandising and store planning teams on order distribution and delivery priorities.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of merchandise planning or buying experience, ideally in footwear retail.
- Strong understanding of retail math, financial metrics, and planning processes.
- Highly analytical with strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimal travel (0–10%).
Salary: $95,000 – $115,000
