Title: Client Development Director
Location: New York, New York
Working Model: Remote in the Tri-State Area (NY, CT, PA, NJ)
Company: Marketing Agency (Pharma/Healthcare focus)
Salary: $80,000 – $125,000 base + 5% commission (uncapped) — Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JPSearch.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-velocity and timely outbound cold calling, including telephone, email, and social media communication for lead prospecting and generation.
  • Follow up on warm leads from marketing activities and proactively conduct research to identify potential prospects at current clients for new business.
  • Qualify leads and opportunities through discovery and relationships with current clients.
  • Efficiently manage prospect pipeline to produce maximum results.
  • Adhere to required and established sales activity metrics, including calls, leads, meetings, and closed won/lost deals.
  • Learn LiveWorld products and services and have a working knowledge of current client business (campaigns and programs).
  • Create and manage on-site events and other marketing activities at current clients.
  • Work closely with Client Account Directors who manage and grow current client programs.
  • Stay current with industry trends and product knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and presentation skills, with a strong professional presence.
  • Exceptional ability to create compelling PowerPoint decks and write persuasive proposals in MS Word.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with sales automation tools like HubSpot CRM (preferred).
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented work style with the ability to thrive independently in a remote-centric environment.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to meet goals, objectives, and targets.
  • Excitement for frequent travel and face-to-face interactions with clients.
  • College degree required.
  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience in a marketing agency, with some experience in the pharma or healthcare industry.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining customer relationships in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
