Job Title: Store Manager/Director
Direct Reporting: President and Chief Executive Officer
Job Role: Responsible for the leadership and direction of sales. Accountable for all daily operations of the store to the President & CEO.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build and develop client base.
- Maintain and develop relationship with customers via phone calls, mailings and e-mails.
- Act as brand ambassador in local market.
- Direct activities towards meeting financial objectives that have been established for the store.
- Provide leadership and motivates sales associates with training on product knowledge, customer relations, coaching and counseling.
- Train sales associates in building their negotiation skills
- Administration of salon inventory to ensure adequate selection
- Ensure that store personnel comply with company policies and procedures
- Hire sales, security and administrative staff.
- Monitor performance issues, corrective actions and attendance.
- Responsible for charitable events and donations that will develop business
Knowledge & skills
- Experience in the high end jewelry business.
- Trained in sales and administrative staff management
- Strong local network with existing and potential high end customers
- Strong skills in communication, team building, conflict resolution, coaching.
- Excellent organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- GIA a plus
Experience
- Experience in managing and supervising retail store
- Extensive experience working in the luxury industry
- Good understanding of the retail business financial and economic dynamics
Salary: 150-160k
Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range by JBC.
