Title: Associate Designer, Women's Activewear
Company Description: Multi-brand wholesale apparel company
Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the product design process from start to finish including concept, color boards, fabric development, CADS, tech packs, and fit reviews
  • Create tech packs – flat sketches w/ detailed construction notes, BOM page including fabric & trim information
  • Recolor and pitch pantone colors and size of artwork/graphics
  • Manage fabric & color libraries, prepare color cards
  • Shop, buy & return samples

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years’ experience as Womens/Girls Designer
  • Team player with a positive attitude toward feedback
  • Well organized, eye for details, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellence in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Excel
  • Strong knowledge of fabrics, silhouettes, prints, colors, and trims
  • Experience in graphic/artwork design preferred

Salary: $65,000 – $85,000
