Title: Assistant Merchant, Apparel

Location: Los Angeles, California

Responsibilities:

• Assist in weekly business meetings, analyzing sales trends and identifying opportunities
• Generate and distribute sales analysis and best/worst seller reports
• Manage sample logistics, including tracking, organizing seasonal racks, and coordinating studio handoffs
• Support the buy process, including preparation and organization for buy meetings
• Collaborate with site merchandising to ensure products are accurately represented online
• Attend store floorset meetings to align on product placement and presentation
• Communicate with production and studio teams to track sample timelines and ensure timely product launches
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to support merchandising strategies and key financial goals

Requirements:

• Knowledge of retail math and Excel
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Experience in men's or women's apparel merchandising 

Hourly compensation: $29.00 – $31.00 per hour

Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JPSearch.
