A great opportunity for an experienced Freelance Garment technologist to join a fantastic team working closely with the Creative Director. You will be responsible for product development and will play an integral role in the development and growth of the brand
Responsibilities:

To translate design sketches into workable technical construction notes and diagrams

Produce detailed tech pack for all styles including all trims / packaging etc.

Creation of measurement charts per product

Work with the factories to create prototypes that meet the designer's requirements

Inspect all products and conduct fittings with the designer on all protypes

Ensure all development comments are issued to, received by, and understood by the suppliers and communicated to merchandise team

Organise further sampling as required

Work with the designer to finalise full size grading prior to production

Drive, track and co-ordinate seasonal critical paths

Work in conjunction with suppliers and factories to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.

Work with merchandising to ensure all samples are ordered and delivered on time.

Control labdip process and fabric / trim testing.

Visits to factories through development process as required and check quality control.
Requirements:
-
4+ Years of working in a Garment Technologist/Product Development role
-
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
-
Experience and knowledge of product construction, pattern cutting and draping
-
Proven experience of translating designs into working tech packs

Ability to work under pressure in a small team

Experience in calendar management with excellent planning and organisational skills

Proactive, technically competent and detail orientated
-
Able to travel in the UK and internationally
