Senior Technical Designer – Men’s

Title: Senior Technical Designer
Location: Southeast, USA
Working Model: Mostly remote, with travel as needed to corporate office

Salary: $80,000-$100,000 (Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JPSearch.)

Responsibilities:

• Work on designated styles starting from initial pass-off through production using Illustrator and Excel programs.
• Partner with Design and Product Development on all new development styles.
• Initiate and maintain Technical Packages for all styles produced domestically and overseas.
• Prepare garments and paperwork for fitting: evaluate against previously made comments, check measurements, and identify trims/fabrication.
• Take ownership in fitting sessions, providing garment history and solutions to fit issues.
• Partner with Design to approve prototypes and pre-production garments (all stages) in a timely manner according to the Time & Action Calendar and Production Plan.
• Communicate with domestic and overseas factories, responding to all inquiries and requests in a timely manner via email or verbal communication.
• Ensure size & fit consistency.
• Drive efficiency and help solve fabric/finish/quality issues in collaboration with Design, Development, and Production.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the fashion industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design.
• Advanced technical knowledge/experience in garment construction.
