Title: Associate Designer or Designer

Salary: $60,000-$80,000

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop full contemporary RTW collections across knits, wovens, and cut & sew categories.
• Manage a high SKU count, ensuring a consistent flow of fresh and innovative designs.
• Research and analyze market trends, fabrics, trims, and silhouettes to create commercially viable designs.
• Develop detailed technical sketches, CADs, and tech packs for production.
• Work closely with product development and production teams to ensure proper execution of designs.
• Oversee fittings, providing precise feedback to maintain design intent and fit accuracy.
• Collaborate with merchandising, sales, and marketing teams to align design concepts with business goals and customer preferences.
• Communicate with factories and vendors to track development progress, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Stay ahead of market trends and competitors to drive innovation and maintain brand relevance.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in contemporary apparel design, with expertise in RTW knits, wovens, and cut & sew.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced design environment.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel.
• Experience creating and managing tech packs for production.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrications, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to thrive under pressure.
