Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design stylish, high-quality baby clothing that balances aesthetics, function, and affordability.
- Create mood boards, sketches, and technical drawings for production.
- Develop original prints, graphics, and patterns tailored for babywear.
- Select fabrics, trims, and materials that meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure top production quality.
- Work with product development and merchandising teams to align with brand vision and trends.
- Research baby fashion trends, safety standards, and sustainable materials.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Textile Design preferred; 2-3 years of babywear design experience.
- Design & Technical Skills: Strong sketching ability, proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and knowledge of garment construction and production.
- Graphics & Trends: Ability to create prints, patterns, and embroidery designs with awareness of baby fashion trends and safety regulations.
- Collaboration & Detail-Oriented: Strong teamwork and communication skills with a keen eye for quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with babywear brands or children's apparel.
- Knowledge of textile printing, fabric dyeing, and sustainable materials.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
