Temp to Perm Sales Associate

Location: NYC – Madison Ave
Start: ASAP
Duration: Until Mid January
Rate: $20-@22 /hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:        

• Responsible for sales generation while upholding the integrity of the clients service philosophy.    
• Exemplify excellence in customer service by taking responsibility to resolve customer issues with positive decorum and in a professional, timely manner. 
• Exhibit pride through positive demeanor, body language and personal presentation.
• Demonstrate a true passion and respect for the product.
• Continually strengthens product knowledge and keeps abreast to industry trends.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals and targets, ensure positive sales margins on a quarter/yearly basis.
• Accurately enters all customer information and correctly processes payments & credits in accordance to policy.
• Assist with any other projects as required (e.g. restocking merchandize, ticketing, inventory preparation, year-end inventory taking, etc.) 

KNOWLEDGEABILITIES:

• Excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and written and time management/project skills
• Goal oriented: ability to stay focused on creating winning results
• Knowledge of principles of salesmanship.
• Knowledge of hunting, sporting equipment, clothing and accessories preferred but not required

WORKING CONDITIONSPHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Work is performed in a professional retail environment.

EXPERIENCEEDUCATION:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• At least three-years of related sales experience.
