Matt was raised in the grassy countryside county of Suffolk, but always felt he was more suited to a busy, coffee running, newspaper grabbing City life so moved to London in 2007 and has never looked back!
As soon as he arrived in London, he began his recruiting journey, originally having approached a recruiter to help find him a job, and was then snapped up by the same firm to work internally. He spent a few years navigating various sectors and industries, before going on to his current specialisation in Digital and Creative.
Matt set up the first JBC office in London back in 2016 with Dhana Toulson (Managing Director) and currently recruits for globally known Tech, E-Commerce, Retail and Luxury brands across all Creative, Digital and Tech roles, specialising in Design, Motion Graphics & Senior Creatives / Teams. He covers both Contractors and Permanent opportunities and has extensive networks of talent across Europe.
When not hustling to register the best talent on the market, or socialising with his awesome clients, Matt can be found either; in a Karaoke bar (likely clearing everybody else out!), exploring new cities (he loves to travel!), dog sitting his friends 4 pugs, or in the gym (okay, maybe not so much in the gym!).
