Job Title: Vice President of Sales and Client Services
Report to: President and work closely with the CEO
Location: New York, NYC (On-site)
Compensation: $180,000 – $225,000 + bonus potential of 30% – 50%

Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC.

As the Vice President of Sales and Client Services, you will drive sales strategies, oversee client relationships, and ensure top-notch customer service and leverage your experience in sales

  • As a key leader, you’ll contribute to achieving revenue goals, expand their client base, and maintain a high client satisfaction.
  • In this role you will lead, coach, and develop the Sales and Client Services teams to ensure their outputs align the organization with long-term business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets, drive growth, and expand market reach.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and motivate sales and client services teams to meet or exceed targets while fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, addressing concerns and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities to acquire new clients and enter new markets, conducting research and analyzing competitors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding, service delivery, and problem resolution.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Use sales data and key metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and refine strategies.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Drive a client-first approach across the organization, ensuring exceptional service throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events to enhance brand awareness and build new business relationships.
  • Additional Duties: Participate in weekly accountability meetings and other leadership activities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years in senior sales and client services leadership, with a track record in service-based sales and the ability to scale growth
  • Education: Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Leadership: Proven ability to inspire and lead teams to meet sales targets and deliver outstanding client service.
  • Sales Strategy: Extensive experience in developing and executing revenue-driven sales strategies.
  • Client Relations: Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make strategic, data-driven decisions.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated flexibility in adjusting sales strategies to changing market conditions.
  • CRM Proficiency: Proficient in Salesforce or comparable CRM and skilled in MS Office.
  • Market Knowledge: Familiarity with B2B and eCommerce solution selling, especially in influencer marketing and inventory solutions.
