Title: Temporary Digital Graphic Designer

Location: North Hollywood, CA 91606 – onsite 2 days per week
Duration: January – March 2024 (possible extension or temp to hire)
Hours: Full-time
Pay range: $38-40/hr Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC. 

Position overview:  The primary role of this individual will be to execute design and creative needs across all digital media platforms for both CPG and retail initiatives: web, email, organic social media, paid media, SMS, etc. The ideal candidate will be skilled in conversion optimization design with the ability to creatively interpret a brief and execute high-quality, multi-channel assets aligning with the modern-retro / 70’s inspired brand styling.

Responsibilities

  • Execute digital presence across .com, third-party retailers, Amazon, etc. through the ideation and creation of high-quality paid and digital assets (email, ads, organic social posts, etc.)
  • Manage adherence to brand guidelines both internally and with third-party vendors / agencies
  • Participate in design and production of campaigns: assisting with such responsibilities as production coordination, progress tracking, and asset organization with third-party agencies

The Ideal Portfolio:
A strong yet streamlined design portfolio showcasing examples of the following digital creative:

  • Email marketing design
  • Social media design (examples of story + feed posts)
  • Paid media design (examples of static, motion, and/or video ads)
  • Web design (examples of landing page mockups, web banner graphics, etc.)
  • Creation or manipulation of retro, cartoon-style digital illustration and / or integration of typography and fun – graphic styling

Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills

  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite software including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Experience using Figma for UI/UX design
  • Experience working with Keynote templates
  • Proficiency with basic photo editing / color correction
  • A strong technical knowledge in preparing design files with a detail-oriented eye
