Hours: Monday- Friday 9am – 5pm

Hourly Rate: $35- $37/hr Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC

Job Responsibilities
– Project Planning and Scheduling: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop detailed
project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Create project schedules, set
milestones, and allocate resources effectively.
– Project Monitoring and Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress on a regular basis and track key
performance indicators (KPIs) to identify any deviations from the plan. Report project status to management
and stakeholders, highlighting accomplishments, risks, and issues.
– Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and subcontractors
involved in the projects. Facilitate communication, track deliverables, and ensure they meet the company’s
standards and project requirements.
– Budget Management: Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenses, making sure that projects stay within
approved financial limits. Work with finance and procurement teams to ensure proper documentation and
processing of invoices and payments.
– Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges that could impact project success.
Collaborate with the project team to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
– Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, progress reports, and relevant data. Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management and
stakeholders.
– Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with safety
regulations and industry best practices.
– Cross-Functional Coordination: Foster effective communication and collaboration among different departments
involved in the projects, such as operations, logistics, maintenance, and customer service.
– Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and propose strategies to enhance project
efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
is preferred. Relevant work experience will also be considered.
– Transportation Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with transportation operations, logistics, and supply chain
management concepts will be advantageous.
– Project Management Skills: Demonstrated experience in project coordination or management, with an
understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
– Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact
professionally with team members, vendors, and clients.
– Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects and
priorities effectively.
– Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, propose solutions, and
make data-driven decisions.
– Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant
tools.
– Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
– Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within cross-functional teams.
– Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project deliverables and compliance
with regulations.
– Leadership Potential: While not always a requirement, previous leadership experience or potential is desirable
for career growth within the organization.
