Location: Boilingbrook, IL (Hybrid)
Hourly Range: $45-65/hr
Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and engineering to define user requirements and design objectives.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and market analysis to inform design decisions.
- Develop user personas, user flows, and wireframes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
- Create high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and interactive prototypes using design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Ensure consistency and coherence across digital touchpoints, including web, mobile, and packaging interfaces.
- Collaborate with developers to implement designs and provide guidance on UI implementation best practices.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, usability testing results, and data-driven insights.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design.
- Support product launches and post-launch activities, including interface refinements and feature enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within the consumer package goods industry.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with user research techniques, usability testing, and data analysis.
- Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for typography, color, and layout.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate design concepts clearly.
- Portfolio showcasing a range of UX/UI design projects and problem-solving abilities.
