Title: Men’s Footwear Designer

Salary: $75,000-$85,000

Responsibilities

• Design and develop men's and boys' footwear collections focusing on sneakers and dress shoes.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to create commercially viable designs.
• Collaborate closely with merchandising, production, and sales teams to ensure designs meet market needs and account preferences.
• Work with key accounts such as Burlington, Ross, DD’s Discounts, and Fashion Nova to tailor products for their target audiences.
• Utilize 3D software to develop prototypes and streamline the design process.
• Manage the design lifecycle from concept sketches to final production, ensuring timelines are met.
• Ensure designs align with company aesthetics and customer expectations while pushing creative boundaries.
• Participate in team meetings to share ideas and collaborate on innovative concepts.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of footwear design experience, ideally in men’s or boys’ footwear.
• Candidates with women’s footwear experience will be considered if adaptable to men’s styles.
• Prior experience working with off-price retailers such as Burlington, Ross, DD’s Discounts, or Fashion Nova is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., Rhino, Keyshot, or similar) is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of materials, construction, and manufacturing processes for sneakers and dress shoes.
