Title: Junior Collections Specialist
Company Description: Media and Entertainment Agency
Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC.
Location: New York, New York
Working Model: Hybrid 1x/week in-office
Responsibilities:

• Post journal entries to move unapplied cash to the correct customer account 
• Responsible for day-to-day outreach to clients for outstanding payments 
• Post incoming cash receipts and apply payments to customer invoices 
• Manage the AR aging schedule to ensure all customer accounts are in good standing 
• Post journal entries for bad-debt write-offs 
• Prepare double tax convention forms for foreign clients 
• Complete vendor forms and closely collaborate with clients and other client subsidiaries to maintain accurate vendor accounts 
• Upload invoices to customer portals for submission and timely payments 
• Assist with US and international audits for accounts 

Requirements:

• 0-3+ years of relevant experience   
• Associates degree or higher 
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Proven ability to communicate effectively within a team environment 
• Experience working with a sales team, producers, creative directors, agents is a plus
