Description: We're seeking an IT Support Engineer – Hardware Lifecycle Specialist to join our Workplace Technologies Support and Services Team. This role will manage all aspects of hardware lifecycle, including shipping, receiving, assigning, removing, and tracking assets throughout the employee lifecycle. Additionally, you'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues on both Apple and Windows devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding to ensure timely equipment provision.
  • Manage hardware returns and track the employee lifecycle.
  • Facilitate hardware replacements and liaise with vendors for repairs.
  • Reconcile inventory data to ensure system accuracy.
  • Conduct regular audits of asset and configuration management records.
  • Handle weekly shipping of hardware to new hires and process returned hardware.
  • Perform quarterly reconciliation inventories.
  • Maintain clean Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and asset records.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in internal IT support roles.
  • 1-2 years of experience in shipping and receiving to domestic locations.
  • Familiarity with asset management systems like SnipeIT and/or ServiceNow.
  • Technical knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM)/Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) systems such as Jamf, Workspace One, InTune, etc.
  • Experience using ServiceNow as a ticketing system.
  • Understanding of asset lifecycle management best practices.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors for repairing damaged assets.
  • Strong attention to detail in completing procedures according to requirements.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting laptop hardware.
