Pay rate: $75k-85k

Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC.

Our client is a leading organization in the combat sports industry, known for its innovative approach to MMA. They are rapidly expanding in other markets and have recently had major on debuts on major sports networks such as ESPN and more. As they continue to grow and expand their reach, they are seeking Graphic Designer to join their creative team.

Position Overview:
You will play an integral role in supporting the organization's design needs, with a focus on creating captivating visual assets for both digital and print platforms. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in the sports industry, a strong proficiency in photo compositing and a genuine passion for combat sports.


  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging designs for various digital and print materials, including social media graphics, advertisements, promotional materials, merchandise, and event collateral.
  • Create visually appealing graphics that adhere to our client's brand guidelines and effectively convey key messages to the target audience.
  • Assist in conceptualizing and executing design concepts for marketing campaigns, live events, and other social and digital initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality design solutions that meet their needs and objectives.
  • Adapt existing design assets for different platforms and formats while maintaining brand consistency and visual integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design techniques, and best practices to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our client's visual content.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed to ensure the successful execution of design projects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute creative ideas and concepts to brainstorming sessions and team meetings.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the digital asset library and organization of design files for easy access and retrieval.


  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, or Digital Media is required.
  • 2+ years of professional experience as a designer, preferably in the sports industry.
  • Excellent knowledge and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
  • Proficiency in other Adobe Creative Suite software is a plus.
  • Ability to take direction, work collaboratively with a team, and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and concepts.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and project requirements.

Candidates must showcase a portfolio of relevant work to mainstream sports franchises, including print and digital samples. This is not an entry level position.
