Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC. 

Our client is a large entertainment provider with an incredible reputation. They are looking for a photo researcher based in their Washington DC office.

We are seeking someone who is detail oriented with great communication skills as well as a pleasant demeanor and team player. This is an entry level job to perform research/coordinator level work supporting Photo Editors working on Non-Fiction Kids books. This role involves fun content on science, nature, animals, etc. and will cover kids’ nonfiction.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assisting up to 6 Photo Editors. 
  • key wording
  • Cross referencing pictures
  • writing captions
  • Researching content
  • Data entry

Qualifications:

  •  1+ year of related experience in researching metadata to find sources
  • Administrative abilities like maintaining databases by entering data / keywording
  • Good written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • PowerPoint, Word and Excel (Basic)
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently and positive, efficient roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
