Our client is a major Tech giant. We are seeking a versatile and experienced Communication Strategist with a focus on retail engagement to partner with our client. As a Communication Strategist, you will be responsible for designing and executing integrated communication and engagement plans tailored to the needs of our retail team members and business objectives. This is a remote role and is a 1 year contract.
Responsibilities:
- Design integrated communication and engagement plans by assessing team member and business needs, defining goals, and framing problems to solve.
- Act as a strategist, account manager, and writer, providing clarity and guidance to creative teams throughout development and execution.
- Develop strategic approaches that synthesize behavioral insights and customer perspectives to inspire and motivate our retail teams.
- Negotiate with partners and business leaders to ensure alignment and clarity in communication objectives and strategies.
- Craft key messages and narratives for various initiatives, including seasonal campaigns, product launches, and employee engagement programs.
- Provide concise briefs that define success metrics and action plans against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Shape strategies with a customer-centric and creative perspective to create compelling stories that inspire our retail teams.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to adapt strategies to the evolving retail landscape.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or a related field.
- years of experience in communication strategy, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable plans.
- Excellent negotiation and account management skills, with the ability to communicate value to non-creative audiences.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong editorial point of view and narrative ability.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with creative teams, business partners, and executives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Empathetic and deeply in tune with the needs and perspectives of retail team members.
