Freelance Collections Specialist

Job Title: Freelance Collections Specialist

Location: Denver, CO
Hours/Schedule: Full time hours/Hybrid 3 days onsite and 2 remote
Pays: $23-$25/h
Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC.

Responsibilities:

•  Monitor A/R aging and customer accounts to minimize past due     accounts.
•  Perform Customer credit analysis as needed.
•  Make collection calls, emails, faxes and letters.
•  Maintain customer relationships internally and externally
•  Assist in bank reporting and compliance as it relates to A/R.
•  Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections experience
• Seasoned collections experience required
• Data analysis is a plus
• Accounting process and controls knowledge
• Ability to write and organize formal correspondences
• Strong working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, especially formulas and formatting.
