Job Title: Freelance Account Executive, Wholesale
Location: NYC (onsite 5 days per week)
Hourly Rate: $30-35/hour
Responsible for driving sales and nurturing a mutually profitable business relationship within an assigned account base by setting and implementing strategies.
- Develop and implement business plan by account to achieve corporate sales goals.
- Ensure all seasonal plans meet the business objectives and needs for each account in collaboration with Buyer
- Analyze business by door to maximize sales opportunities (weekly, monthly, seasonally, and annually)
- Partner with Retailer on forecasting OTB components: sales and markdowns and receipt flows
- Develop and execute in season action plans to improve OTB forecast, reacting to business trends
- Work to provide each buying team with key information on effectively executing in store merchandising by account
- Communicate trend and competitive information internally.
- Minimize liabilities for the corporation by monitoring confirmations, and managing a clear markdown strategy
- Receive weekly sales/stock information from accounts, and perform weekly analysis of by style/by door selling
- Accumulate month end figures by door and analyze to address issues/opportunities.
- Maintain order changes, substitutions, confirmations, and shipping status/order tracking for account
- 3- 5 years sales/account management experience
- Proficient at retail math and planning
- Strong computer skills and experience working in excel necessary
- Proven track record of showroom experience working with apparel product
- Strong communication and presentation skills required #LI-SH3
