Salary Range: $37-39/hr
Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC
Responsibilities:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, particularly in fund accounting, and financial analysis within a hospital or comparable setting is required. Knowledge in Information Technology is advantageous.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Junior Financial/Budget Analyst.
- Track record of developing new financial reports and proficiently monitoring and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively.
- Competency in budget and variance analysis, with the ability to research and elucidate budget discrepancies.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, encompassing v-lookups, pivot tables, sum-ifs, and experience in handling large linked Excel files.
- Familiarity with GAAP, the General Ledger, and the Chart of Accounts.
- Previous experience in constructing, developing, and maintaining financial models.
- Proficiency in working with major financial ERP systems, such as Infor Lawson.
- Background in collaborating with Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and external vendors.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet various deadlines concurrently.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
- Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
