Title: Sales Director

Company Description: Fast-growing cannabis creative brand

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking a driven Sales Director to assist the executive team and the company in reaching its financial objectives.  This person should have an existing book of business and maintain sound working relationships with current clients, new prospects and all internal departments while achieving sales quotas.
  • Design, implement and manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting
  • Establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and sales consistency.
  • Can build a team and also with an outside distribution company
  • Report on the weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance of the company.
  • Create and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of company products as well as competing products.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Control costs to maximize revenue.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships; develop and implement strategies for expanding their customer base throughout California
  • Travel required for in-person meetings with customers and sales team to develop key relationships.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in sales and sales management roles, some of which must be in a Cannabis CPG company
  • Demonstrated ability to wear multiple hats, respond to evolving demands and react to a constantly changing marketplace.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • A proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Smart, funny, good personality and drive to work in a startup ambiguity environment
  • A strong network within the cannabis industry
