Job Title: Customer Supply Chain Analyst
Duration: 4/14/24 – 10/14/24 (potential for extension)
Hours: M-F 40 hrs/wk
Location: Deerfield, IL 60015 (Hybrid – 3 days on site, 2 remote)
Pay: $25-28/hr 

Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC.

This hybrid position will be on-site reporting to Customer Supply Director. The focus of this position will be to partner with internal and external supply chain teams to achieve mutually agreed upon goals.

Job Requirements (Minimum number of years of experience, skills, certification, and academic background required to perform this job):
• Outstanding Data Management skills- Microsoft Office Suite applications with an intermediate/advanced focus in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). SAP, database, and forecasting experience preferred
• An understanding of relational data base concepts; the ability to merge and transfer files resulting in the creation of reports from multiple sources
• Ability to drive to and articulate insights and actionable recommendations from data analysis
• Strong interpersonal skills- ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Direct experience with regular interaction/management of a retail customer preferred
• Possess a four (4) year college degree or equivalent job experience, preferably in logistics or business.
• A minimum of 1-3 years business experience

Judgment and Decision Making
Colleague in this position needs to display excellent analytical judgment in determining trends & root causes and leading to actionable and proactive recommendations. Supervision will be intermittent and ability to work autonomously and lead initiatives is important.
Role has significant interaction with internal Supply Chain & Sales functions, and regular interaction with various levels/functions at the customer. Colleague will have to make decisions regarding nature of communication, message, tone, impact. Sales/Customer interaction will be Moderately supervised.

Essential Physical Requirements (if applicable-i.e. lifting – exactly how much, bending, climbing, driving equipment):
Minimal. Extensive computer-use; stationary work. Some travel required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Identify opportunities to increase retail sales, drive shipment volume for client and reduce unproductive inventory and/or returns 15%
2. Proactively monitor and manage subscribed store in stock through a standard cadence 15%
3. Proactively monitor and analyze end to end process to ensure that we are delivering orders on time and in full, including Carrier collaboration 15%
4. Ad hoc analysis from Commercial Teams 15%
5. Conduct bi-weekly Collaboration meetings/calls for specific categories 10%
6. Proactively collaborate on display volume with the goal of developing displays that maximize store distribution 5%
7. Ensure good ad preparedness and complete post event analyses for promotional events 5%
8. Proactively collaborate and maintain baseline forecasts in  system (including running reports that identify areas of concern) 5%
9. Recommend opportunities to achieve end to end supply chain cost savings 5%
10. Participate in monthly on-site share group discussions 5%
11. Administration to include scheduling meetings, monitoring/maintaining order flow calendars, etc. 5%
