Title: Communications and Events Coordinator

Location: San Francisco, CA 
Salary Range: $25-27/hr

Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC


  • Supporting the Corporate Communications team with onsite support for ongoing and special events, including internal communications needs, event pre-planning, vendor management, event set up and tear down, and other on-the-ground support.
  • Draft compelling and informative communications for our internal and employee engagement events, including emails, newsletters, intranet, event RSVP forms, digital signage and posters.
  • Building relationships with key internal stakeholders when it comes to organizing and executing onsite events.
  • Collaborating closely with partners across Operations, Facilities, DEI, HR, Publicity and other departments.
  • Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, research, updating various databases and lists, maintaining events calendar, entering facilities requests, processing invoices, scheduling meetings and shipping needs.
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed.


  • At least 1+ year of event planning, publicity or communications-related experience in a studio, network, agency, brand, or similar organization.
  • Excellent organization skills and high level of attention to detail, accuracy and follow through.
  • Ability to effectively and professionally interface with executives, colleagues, vendors and guests.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, as well standard office software including Zoom and Microsoft Office programs.
