Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Manager

Our client is seeking a hands-on, passionate and highly motivated Manager, Cloud Infrastructure. The Manager, Cloud Infrastructure will work directly with the Director of Technology and the IT team to support mission during field operations in disaster settings around the headquarters in Los Angeles.

This will require expertise in IaaS, PaaS architecture. 
 

Duties: 

  • Develop tools and frameworks to codify DevSecOps and DevOps best practices for development teams. 
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle with a focus on secure solutions. 
  • As a servant-leader, you will manage members of the Technology Support staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs across tech functions: DevOps and Network & Security 
  • Research, Identify, and mitigate security risks in existing and prospective applications and business processes, as well as conduct security assessments and audits, penetration testing, forensic investigations, and incident management 
  • Building, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting all aspects of our cloud infrastructure 

Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience developing and implementing DevOps methodologies and security across cloud infrastructure and platform services
  • Real world experience in phishing attack mitigation, ransomware recovery, and threat-hunting; as well as experience implementing and managing Conditional Access & MFA policies, E-mail security, and firewall configuration & management, and change management, specifically focused on software and update management. Experience as a SOC analyst is considered a plus.
  • Experience with SIEM/SOAR, EDR, and Cloud Security suites, specifically Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Azure Sentinel, Azure Defender for Cloud, and KQL.
  • Extensive experience working in Microsoft 365 architecting and implementing business solutions, as well as enforcing email security policies. 
  • Proven experience working with content management systems and CDNs (WordPress and Cloudflare are pluses)
  • Proficiency with tools such as Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, as well as project management tools like Asana or Jira.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, leadership, communication, project management and documentation skills; ability to assess IT requirements and determine optimum, cost-effective solutions
  • Thorough understanding of multi-layer network switches; knowledge of IP Addressing and subnets as it relates to creating and maintaining the following: OSPF, RIP, VLANS, MLPPP, MPLS, QoS, BGP
  • Understanding of legal and compliance issues related to technology and infosec management (SOC-2, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP, etc.)
