Title: Cash Analyst
Company: Large Entertainment Brand
Duration: 7 Month W2 Contract
Location: Louisville, KY
Working Model: Hybrid, 1x in Office per Week
Compensation: $20-26/Hr. W2
Salary (or hourly rate) is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC
Responsibilities:

  • Process wire transfers and checks received, ensuring they are allocated to customer accounts accurately
  • Work closely with the Collections team to match cash and withholding taxes (WTH) to their respective invoices
  • Prepare and submit withholding tax reports to the International Tax Team
  • Compile and distribute daily reports on unapplied cash and received cash
  • Partner with the Treasury team to identify and resolve unknown wire transfers
  • Ensure that unapplied payments are promptly resolved and allocated appropriately
  • Handle the processing of credit card payments
  • Participate in the cash application process and cash reporting projects
  • Assist in the handover of revenue activities from Canada and the Caribbean to the LATAM region
  • Play an integral role during the month-end closing process
  • Oversee the reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Write off uncollectable invoices as requested by the Collections team, following verification of AAM approvals
  • Provide ad-hoc reports for internal and external audits, actively participating in auditing processes
  • Serve as a backup for the cash application
  • Work closely with local provinces to collect all necessary documentation for booking payments in the system
  • Reconcile future checks, ensuring accurate cross-control
  • Collaborate with the local tax team in Argentina, assisting with documentation requests

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of experience in accounts receivable
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines
  • Capable of operating effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
  • A team-oriented individual who is focused on details and diligent in follow-ups
  • Ability to work efficiently with a global team
