Technical Business Analyst, Media Supply Chain Platforms – US

Position Overview

Our Media Workflow team seeks a Technical Business Analyst to research, examine, and document existing operational and technical processes. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate legacy processes into future-state operational workflows. Your role will be pivotal in enabling data-driven decision-making and defining the feature and development roadmap across our Media Platforms portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Research and identify critical knowledge bases and stakeholders
  • Organize and conduct meetings with key business stakeholders, engineering, and operational teams
  • Collate and distill existing process documentation into a consistent format
  • Investigate and surface existing process metrics to set benchmark expectations
  • Define, prioritize, and categorize workflow requirements in collaboration with project leaders
  • Own and maintain discovery and roadmap documentation

Skill Requirements, Experience, and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of media supply chain processes and terminology
  • 2-4 years of experience organizing project-specific information across departments
  • Excellent command of English
  • Proficiency in Agile project management and associated tools
  • Ability to coordinate conflicting requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Experience in media & entertainment, particularly metadata management, digital video and audio, and asset management systems/platforms
  • Good knowledge of media file standards, content supply chain workflows, and cloud architecture
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Experience operating within project teams and managing own project work
  • Experience in a distributed global technology environment is a plus
  • Self-motivated with strong reporting skills
  • Ability to interpret usage data and develop reports and presentations
  • Desirable Skills: Understanding of media technology lifecycles and workflows, experience with post-production processes, knowledge of cloud technology (e.g., Amazon AWS), familiarity with XML, JSON, Web Services, video formats, Agile experience, engineering or development backgrounds
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
