Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret market data
- Evaluate existing and potential product and service markets in the beauty industry
- Provide insights for strategic planning and business development
- Analyze consumer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits
- Monitor and analyze competitor strategies
- Identify and analyze industry trends
- Prepare comprehensive reports with research findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with teams to implement strategies based on research
- Develop forecasting and methods for data collection; interpret market trends
- Work with various departments to integrate market research findings
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in market analysis (ideally at least 2 years within the US beauty industry)
- Bachelor's degree in market research, statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and experience handling complex data and providing actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Skilled in market research tools, MS Office, and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS)
- Ability to translate insights into business outcomes
- Up-to-date with beauty industry trends and regulations in the US
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000
Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC.
