Title: Accountant
Company: Large Entertainment Company
Duration: 6-12 Month W2 Contract
Location: Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY
Working Model: Hybrid
Compensation: $30-40/hr W2
Salary (or hourly rate) is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC
Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports such as income statements and balance sheets
  • Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Collaborate with other departments for financial insights and operations

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle/SAP/or similar tools and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork capability
  • Experience in media or advertising is a plus
