Position Summary:
The Assistant Showroom Manager supports the Showroom Manager in achieving sales targets and ensuring smooth showroom operations. As a key team member, this role requires leading by example, fostering a positive environment, and motivating colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service
- Build and maintain customer relationships, providing exceptional service both in-person and over the phone.
- Assist customers with purchasing decisions, identifying needs, and recommending suitable options.
- Manage orders accurately, including customer details, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly while keeping the Showroom Manager informed.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets, ensuring product knowledge is up-to-date.
Leadership
- Motivate and guide the team to consistently meet sales targets.
- Conduct daily team meetings to provide updates on pricing, promotions, and sales goals.
- Promote a positive work environment and handle employee grievances as needed.
- Step into the Showroom Manager’s duties when required.
Operations & Branding
- Liaise with visual merchandising teams to ensure product displays meet brand standards.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring procedures are followed accurately.
- Ensure marketing materials and in-store displays are aligned with branding requirements.
Capabilities:
- Proven leadership skills in team management, performance, and sales.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
- High attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in retail operations, customer service, and visual merchandising.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with computer literacy in Microsoft Suite.
