Responsibilities

• Design kids' and related apparel from initial concept to final product.
• Create detailed CAD designs and develop private label collections tailored to customer needs.
• Incorporate fleece, loungewear, and denim fabrics and styles into designs.
• Collaborate directly with factories to communicate product development details and ensure timely execution.
• Develop and manage a yearly design and production calendar, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to maintain innovative and competitive designs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and production, to ensure brand alignment and product quality.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in kids’ apparel design or women's apparel, with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
• Expertise in creating CAD designs and translating concepts into production-ready designs.
• Experience with fleece, loungewear, and denim fabrics and styles is essential.
• Strong understanding of product development and the ability to effectively communicate with factories.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving; capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Passionate about swimwear and kids' apparel design, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with production processes.
• Must be available for a full-time, in-office role.
