A leading provider of botanical solutions is seeking a US-based Regional Sales Manager to join our team, focusing on expanding our business within the US region. Our company is renowned for delivering high-quality botanicals to a diverse range of industries, including tea, beverages, food, animal nutrition, dietary supplements, and pharmaceuticals. We partner with clients and growers around the globe to bring over 200 botanicals from 80+ countries to market, focusing on sustainability and the functional benefits of plants.
We’re looking for a dynamic individual to help us grow our presence in the Herbal Tea sector through strategic sales efforts and building strong client relationships.
**Position Overview:**
The Business Development Manager will be tasked with driving profitable growth in the assigned territory. You will play a key role in creating and executing sales strategies that increase the company’s penetration in the Herbal Tea market and beyond.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth within the territory across various industries.
– Build and maintain strong customer relationships, focusing on long-term partnerships.
– Manage customer projects and opportunities from the initial stages through to completion.
– Conduct regular visits to key accounts to promote our products and services, working closely with procurement, quality control, and product development teams.
– Collaborate with internal technical teams to create solutions tailored to customer needs.
– Provide regular updates and reports on customer activity and territory performance to management.
– Work with Marketing to refine promotional campaigns and marketing materials based on customer feedback.
– Represent the company at industry trade shows and events as needed.
**Qualifications:**
– Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience within the industry.
– A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
– Proven track record of successfully selling solutions.
– Experience in nutritional supplements and flavor solutions is required.
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
– Excellent organizational skills and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
-Experience working directly with supply chain.
-Sustainability organizational experience and general knowledgebase.
– Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time.
– Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel and Word.
– Preferably based New Jersey
-Salary Range: $100-140K
