Salary: $70,000-$90,000

Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine technical packages (tech packs) for juniors' apparel, ensuring accuracy in measurements, construction details, and fit specifications.
- Collaborate closely with design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure designs are executed according to brand standards and timelines.
- Conduct fit sessions and provide clear and actionable feedback to pattern makers, sample makers, and factories to achieve desired fit and quality.
- Manage and maintain all technical documentation within the PLM system, ensuring up-to-date and organized records for each style.
- Work closely with factories and suppliers, both domestic and international, to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during production.
- Oversee the fitting and production of multiple product categories, including tops, bottoms, dresses, and more.
- Ensure all products meet the brand’s standards for fit, quality, and construction, while adhering to cost and production timelines.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure garments are produced to specifications, meeting deadlines for delivery to off-price retailers
- Stay updated on industry trends, fabric developments, and emerging technologies to enhance product development processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical design, with a focus on women’s apparel (juniors/missy and plus sizes).
- Strong experience in cut & sew, knit, woven, and denim fabrics across various categories (e.g., tops, bottoms, dresses).
- Previous experience working with off-price retailers
- Proficiency in using PLM systems for managing technical design documentation.
- Excellent understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and grading.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Experience with men’s apparel is a plus, but not required.
