A graduate of Northeastern University, J Mikel’s real education began working for brands like Aveda, Slatkin & Co., and Dr. Dennis Gross, providing her with a passion for beauty. She even traveled to Marseille, France for some hands-on experience making soap with L’Atélier du Savon. And after getting humans cleaned up, she developed a posh collection of dog products, that were featured everywhere from People Magazine to Dr. Oz. But it was her time with WGSN and Mintel - both global B2B market intelligence services – where she worked closely for clients such as Estee Lauder, L’Oréal, Fresh, and KAO that she mastered the importance of trends and what drives consumer demand.
J Mikel prides herself on exceeding client expectations and delivering business partnerships for both major companies and cutting-edge start-ups. No wonder then, that her work has contributed to so many mergers and acquisitions, lasting relationships, and incredibly enjoyable lunches!
