Job Title: Temp to Perm Associate Product Manager
Start: ASAP
End: Ongoing  with perm potential
Pay: $25-30/hr BOE
Hours: FT
Location: Onsite NYC
Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating Gerber tech packs with details, colorways, fabric and trim information; work with technical designer and apparel designers to complete
  • Keep in constant contact with foreign and domestic manufacturers to follow up with product details for all styles
  • Assist in approving fabrics and trims and organize all by season or project
  • Track all stages of samples according to the timeline needed
  • Organize and keep track of seasonal product sample lines
  • Participate in fittings to review garment’s fit, details, fabrics, etc. in conjunction with the technical and apparel designers
  • Implement changes and revisions to tech packs
  • Help to review and maintain WIP reports by category
  • Create spreadsheets to order salesman samples and follow up with vendors
  • Assist in catalog layout spreadsheets
  • Update salesforce, customer service, and purchasing departments on any sample or catalog changes
  • Monitor inventory levels/buys/sales by style
  • Fill out product information forms for retail partners
  • Attend design and product meetings
  • Receive and sort incoming packages
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Excellent communicator 
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or University; a related internship is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Gerber, Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint  
  • Minimum 2-3  Years’ Experience
