Title: Temp to Hire Bookkeeper
Company: Luxury apparel + accessories retailer
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90006 – onsite
Start: ASAP
End: Temp to hire
Hours: Full time
Pay range: $28-33/hr

This role will be responsible for managing the company’s finances. Your responsibilities will include tracking our organization’s revenue, expenses, and taxes, as well as producing financial reports. You will also be responsible for auditing our books to ensure our records are correct. QuickBooks is a must. Retail Pro experience is highly preferred.


  • Record and monitor day-to-day financial transactions and reports
  • Prepare accounting records by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Reconcile company’s financial records to help ensure accuracy of financial statements
  • Prepare tax returns for businesses and individuals
  • Post financial transactions to accounts and prepare financial statements
  • Study financial trends to determine future business needs
  • Working with an accountant when necessary

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping principles, financial statements, and accounting
  • systems
  • Must be proficient in QuickBooks
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks; experience with other tax preparation and accounting
  • software
  • Thrives in a time-sensitive environment with changing priorities and situations
  • Able to meet goals in a time-sensitive environment
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to prioritize
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and a self-starter
