Salary: $70,000-$90,000

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to develop denim collections that meet brand aesthetic and quality standards.
• Create and maintain detailed technical packages including tech packs, construction details, and fit specifications.
• Conduct fit sessions; analyze and provide feedback on fit, construction, and functionality.
• Communicate regularly with overseas vendors to ensure accurate execution of designs and resolve any technical issues.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and deadlines are met.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, sourcing, and quality assurance to achieve product goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and innovations related to denim and technical design.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel/Textile Design, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical design, specifically in women’s denim (juniors/missy and plus categories).
• Proficiency in PLM systems; experience with Gerber or Lectra software a plus.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, patternmaking, and fit.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and overseas vendors.
• Detail-oriented with a critical eye for quality and fit.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
