Supply Planning Manager

Title: Supply Planning Manager
Company: beauty industry 
Location: NY – 4x a week in office
Salary: $110-120k

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production of finished goods with subcontractors
• Align the supply plans to the demand plans at each of the distribution center.
• Meet targets for fill rates, days of supply and inventory levels for finished goods in collaboration with the affiliate Material Planning Team for their respective brands.
• Coordinate transfer of inventory between DCs and subcontracted production.
• Communicate supply issues to Demand Planning.
• Support Product Life Cycle Management.
• Calculate and monitor safety stock for finished goods based on the ABC classification.
• Monitor short- and long-term capacity at subcontracted production.
• Develop and execute the Supply Plan and inventory plans for IP for respective brands.

Qualifications / Skills

• Education: bachelor or higher degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or another related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of work experience in procurement, supply chain, operations or other relevant experience, ideally in personal care product manufacturing.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail & high levels of accuracy.
• Advanced user skills of Excel and Power BI. 
• Ability to interpret data and translate into insights and actions.
• Confidence liaising with senior management and key stakeholders and making recommendations.
• Proven project management skills.
• Self-directed, proactive and operates under general or minimum supervision.
• APICS certification preferred.
