Salary: $110,000 – $115,000
*Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC

Job Summary:

 This position is key in ensuring successful delivery of Events and In-Store Activations as part of a 360 marketing approach and ensuring that our brands deliver world class events and brand experiences with our retail partners. This hybrid role will report directly to the Head of Education.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Manage all retail events from inception to execution
  • Work closely with retail partners and field team to ensure events are scheduled in a timely manner
  • Oversee budgets, logistics and calendar for all events
  • Source key materials through vendors and negotiate pricing
  • Collaborate with Marketing and cross functional teams to ensure we are meeting specific guidelines outlined for the event strategy, presentation and budget
  • Implement marketing strategies to increase awareness of events and attract attendance
  • Work with Creative team on event collateral and materials
  • Partner with Director of Education to develop overall event theme


Candidate Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in retail events
  • Passion for the beauty industry a must
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive, open and approachable
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word, Power Point & Excel
  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
