Title: Senior Technical Designer- Intimates

Location: New York, New York
Salary: $80,000-$120,000
*Salary is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC*

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with design teams and buyers to ensure design intent is maintained through fit and production stages.
• Conduct and lead fit sessions, accurately identifying and communicating necessary pattern and workmanship corrections.
• Ability to work independently on pattern corrections and communicate effectively with overseas production teams.
• Utilize PLM systems and other software tools to manage and document technical design processes.
• Ensure adherence to fit and quality standards, maintaining brand integrity.
• Experience in the off-price industry, ideally with companies like Burlington, Ross, etc., is preferred.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of technical design experience in intimates and sleepwear, with a focus on constructed bras and molded pads.
• Proficiency in patternmaking, grading, and fit sessions.
• Strong understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and overseas suppliers.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience using PLM systems and other relevant software for technical design and documentation.
