Responsibilities

• Develop channel-specific assortments (retail, web, outlet) based on historical data and market trends.
• Manage SKU assortments, product flow, and pricing strategies to achieve financial objectives.
• Analyze sales data and trends with planners to forecast future product needs.
• Execute pre-distributions for quarterly buys and adjust strategy as needed.
• Monitor category and gender performance, making adjustments to optimize sales and inventory.
• Propose markdown strategies to manage inventory effectively by channel and category.
• Stay ahead of trends, ensuring assortments reflect current and future customer demands.
• Collaborate with web, planning, allocations, and marketing teams to align assortments with business goals.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of relevant buying experience with a medium to large sports performance footwear retailer.
• Ability to travel 20–30%.
• Proven ability to adapt to trends and customer needs.
• Experience managing assortments across multiple retail channels.
• Strong analytical and retail math skills, with advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, v-lookups)

Salary: $125,000 – $135,000
