Title: Product Marketing Temp  
Location: San Francisco, CA – Hybrid
Hours: 24 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 10-4:30 (w/ 1/2 hour lunch)
Duration: 20 weeks, starting within the next couple of weeks
Pay rate: $26/hr
Hourly rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by JBC.

Preference – Beauty Industry – Personal Care Products
You will support the Product Marketing Team focusing on basic business reforms, sustainability updates, International expansion, and helping with innovation where needed.  You will provide personal expertise, as well as project leadership and will properly set-up the projects and actively drive the teams to achieve project goals on time for product launch. You will identify critical paths and roadblocks within a project and identify appropriate solutions.

Each day is different with new problems to solve and tasks to tackle, but here is an idea of some of the things you will work on:

  • Collaborate closely with Product Development, R&D, Packaging, Creative, Regulatory & Operations to bring the brand experience to life through best-in-class products from concept until the product is brought into the home.
  • Successfully advance product development projects through the process lifecycle and ensure delivery on time.
  • Ensure accurate and timely issuance of marketing briefs for all programs, clearly communicating project details and objectives to all cross-functional partners.
  • Attend product development meetings to document, track, and deliver action items.
  • Anticipate, identify and seek resolution of developmental and operational issues throughout the product launch process.
  • Manage cost of goods for launch programs and make cost savings recommendations.
  • Support presentation development for key internal and external product marketing meetings, including monthly leadership alignment.
  • Work with sales and demand planning to prepare volume opportunity estimates and drive global forecasts.
  • Assist team with data pulls and analysis to inform business reviews and future innovation.

Beauty Industry highly preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant in Marketing, preferably in the personal care products industry.
  • A self-starter who needs minimal supervision and can take initiative to drive programs from conception through development
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage a dynamic workload.
  • Must be able to work independently, elaborate alternative options and scenarios to address issues.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of projects & programs and to carry them through to on time completion.
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Circana & Euromonitor a plus.
